Publication Ethics

Code of Ethics for Authors

  1. The authors of the Journal submit and process the writing in accordance with the journal template, by providing:

    • accurate explanation related to the research that has been done;

    • objective explanation of the research benefits;

    • true presentation of the research results without any fabrication, falsification or manipulation of data;

    • details of similar literature to facilitate other researchers in conducting similar research;

  2. The authors of the Journal are responsible for ensuring the authenticity of the writing and ensuring that the writing is free from plagiarism, by:

    • not submitting the same/similar manuscript simultaneously without the permission of the editorial board;

    • giving a proper acknowledgment to the previous research results or publications in the reference list;

    • ensuring that the citation refers to the first literature source;

    • ensuring that every citation is carried out based on the citing procedures in the Journal;

  3. The authors of the Journal are responsible for ensuring that the articles submitted are free from double publication, by:

    • not submitting the same or similar manuscripts to other journals simultaneously;

    • not making more than one article from the same research;

    • presenting sufficient explanation if there is more than one manuscript originating from one research;

    • giving a proper acknowledgment to the main publication of research as the reference if there is more than one manuscript originating from one research;

  4. The authors of the Journal are responsible for enclosing accurate data sources by including:

    • all data sources used in the research;

    • all published sources that are the literature sources;

    • citing other works used as references based on the citing provisions in the Journal;

  5. The authors of the Journal are responsible for ensuring all parties who contribute to the design, planning, implementation, and writing of research results, by ensuring that:

    • names of the authors listed in each article have contributed to the research and writing;

    • parties who have the main contribution in the design, planning, implementation, and writing of research results are listed as the main authors;

    • parties who directly contribute to the writing of articles are listed as assistant authors;

    • parties who contribute indirectly to the writing of the article are included in the gratitude expression as a form of acknowledgment;

    • main author and assistant author have approved the articles to be published and approved the enclosure of their names in the Journal;

  6. The authors of the Journal are responsible for disclosing all important information related to published articles, including:

    • parties who have a particular interest in the manuscript which can be considered influencing the results or interpretation of the research;

    • parties providing research funding assistance;

    • other parties that have the potential to cause conflict of interest;

  7. The authors of the Journal are responsible for providing information to the editor or journal manager if a substantial or fundamental error or inaccuracy in the submitted/published manuscript is found. The authors of the Journal are willing to cooperate with the editor or journal manager to find the best solution, by withdrawing or correcting the manuscript;


Code of Ethics for the Editor

  1. The editors of the Journal are responsible for every decision made by taking into account:

    • the editor's responsibility in editing the manuscript;

    • validity and contribution of the edited manuscript for the researchers and readers;

    • the guidelines of the Journal Editor;

    • the publication ethics, related to defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism;

    • the opinion of other editors, if necessary, regarding the feasibility of a manuscript to be published in the Journal;

    • the quality of the published manuscript;

    • the integrity of the Journal;

  2. The editors of the Journal are responsible for editing each manuscript by taking into account:

    • the authenticity of the manuscript;

    • the review results of Peer Reviewer;

    • the communication process with the author regarding the review results of Peer Reviewer;

    • the area of expertise of Peer Reviewer;

    • the existing conflicts of interest;

  3. The editors of the Journal are responsible for creating a fair review process, by:

    • ensuring that the topic of the submitted manuscript is within the scope of the journal

    • ensuring the suitability of manuscript writing with the journal template

    • ensuring that every manuscript is edited based on intellectual content and there is no discrimination against authors, either related to sex, gender, race, religion, nationality, or other matters;

    • avoiding partiality and biased decisions by upholding the principles of freedom and integrity in every editing;

    • avoiding dishonesty and partiality in determining the feasibility of a manuscript for publication;

  4. The editors of the Journal are responsible for maintaining confidentiality by:

    • maintaining the confidentiality of information relating to manuscripts submitted by the authors;

    • foreseeing all possible breaches of data security and author confidentiality;

    • requesting a written statement regarding the research to be published and a statement regarding the manuscript publication;

  5. The editors of the Journal are prohibited from:

    • using material in the manuscript that has not been published for personal use without the permission of the author;

    • being involved in deciding the publication of a manuscript if they have particular interest in a manuscript.


Code of Ethics for Peer Reviewer

  1. The peer reviewers of Journal are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of information relating to the submitted manuscript by:

    • treating any information in the manuscript as privileged information;

    • not showing or discussing the manuscripts with others without the permission of the editorial board;

    • The peer reviewers of Journal are responsible for ensuring the enclosure of all data sources in the manuscript by:

    • searching for related publications that have not been included in the manuscript by the author;

    • ensuring the inclusion of every statement, whether in the form of observations, conclusions, or arguments that have appeared in other publications in the manuscript;

    • notifying the editorial board if there is any indication of: deviation; violation of the code of ethics; basic similarities between the accepted manuscripts and the published manuscripts; maintaining the confidentiality of information related to indications of irregularities, violations of the code of ethics, as well as the basic similarities between the accepted manuscripts and the published manuscripts; not conducting self-investigation if there is any indication of irregularities, violations of the code of ethics, as well as basic similarities between the accepted manuscripts and the published manuscripts;

    • cooperating with the editorial board if the editor asks for further information and advice regarding indications of irregularities, violations of the code of ethics and the basic similarities between the accepted manuscripts and the published manuscripts;

  2. The peer reviewers of Journal are responsible for carrying out the review objectively by:

    • providing a clear and supported opinion with justifiable reasons;
    • providing a review in accordance with the instructions of the Journal, unless there is a strong reason not to do so;
    • providing useful reviews and constructive input;
    • providing clear advice on which areas require important additional investigation and which areas require additional analysis and detail;
  3. The peer reviewers of Journal are responsible for:

    • maintaining the confidentiality of the information or ideas contained in the manuscript;

    • not using the information or ideas in the manuscript for personal gain;

    • refusing to review the manuscript if it indicates certain interests such as competition, cooperation, or other relationships with the author, agency, or institution related to the manuscript;

    • providing information to the editorial board if they recognize author's identity and find any possible conflict of interest;

  4. The peer reviewers are responsible for the punctuality in reviewing the manuscript by:

    • reviewing the submitted manuscripts within the deadline determined by the editor; making the best use of time in reviewing a manuscript;

    • agreeing to review the manuscript only if the review is believed to be completed within the agreed time;

    • informing the editorial board immediately if additional time is required;

    • informing the editorial board if unable to complete the review within the allotted time, so the manuscript can be sent to other Peer Reviewers.
